All-Around Performer

Optivision

A do-it-all dual reflective film. It cuts daytime heat and glare, helps keep warmth in during winter, blocks over 99% of UV rays to slow fading, and adds daytime privacy, all while keeping night views clear.

Neutral Tone

Solar Grey

A neutral-toned film that fits the look of any home or office, reducing heat and glare while helping slow fading. An exterior version is available when an interior installation isn't possible, such as on laminated or triple-pane glass.

Barely There

Nova 70

Spectrally selective solar control with a neutral color and high visible light transmission, for spaces where a dark film isn't an option. Keeps interiors bright, reduces glare, helps retain warmth in winter, and reinforces the glass to reduce the risk of shattering.

What the Numbers Mean

Quick definitions for each column in the table above.

Visible LightYour preference
How much daylight gets through the glass. Lower numbers look darker, higher numbers keep rooms brighter.
Solar Energy RejectedHigher is better
How much of the sun's total energy the film keeps out. Often called heat rejection.
Infrared RejectedHigher is better
How much infrared energy, the invisible part of sunlight you feel as warmth, the film blocks.
UV RejectedHigher is better
How much ultraviolet light the film blocks. UV fades floors and furniture, and every film here blocks over 99%.
Glare ReductionHigher is better
How much the film cuts brightness compared with clear, unfilmed glass.
SHGCLower is better
Solar Heat Gain Coefficient. The share of the sun's heat that still ends up inside, shown as a number from 0 to 1.
